Privacy policy

What we store

• Your Google account basics. When you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address and profile photo link.
• What you enter. Subscriptions (name, plan, price, currency, billing cycle, renewal and free-trial dates), the spaces you group them into, your display name, monthly budget and currency.
• Profile photo. If you pick a photo, it is uploaded and stored so it shows on all your devices.
• Invoice details. When you upload an invoice, we keep what was read from it (vendor, amount, currency, dates, billing cycle and a few lines of its text) and a fingerprint of the file so the same file isn’t read twice. We do not keep the invoice file itself.

Invoices and Google Gemini

To read an invoice, the PDF or image you choose is sent from our server to Google’s Gemini API, which returns the details listed above. Google processes the file under the Gemini API terms. Only upload invoices you are comfortable sharing for this purpose; you can always add a subscription by hand instead.

On your phone

• Your sign-in session, kept in the phone’s secure storage.
• A copy of your data, so the app works offline.
• A random ID for this install, used once to move anything you saved before signing in onto your account.
• Your reminder settings. Renewal reminders are scheduled on the phone itself; we don’t send them from a server.

Who else handles your data

• Convex hosts our database, file storage and server code.
• Google provides sign-in and reads invoices through the Gemini API.

Exchange rates come from the Frankfurter API; no personal data is sent to it. We do not sell your data, show ads, or use analytics or tracking tools.

This website

This site doesn’t set cookies or run analytics, and its fonts are served from our own domain. If you join the early-access list, we use your email address only to tell you when your invite is ready, and delete it if you ask.

Keeping and deleting your data

We keep your data until you delete it. To delete your account and everything stored with it, open Profile → Delete account in the app. Deletion starts immediately and finishes within minutes. Copies may remain in our hosting provider’s backups for a limited time before they expire.

Children

Subscribbl is not meant for children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If this policy changes, we’ll update the date at the top of this page. Using Subscribbl is also covered by our terms of service.
